The Special Nutrition Program for Women,Infants and Children (WIC) is a very different type of programs like, Food stamps, EBT, Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) and the Pandemic EBT (P-EBT) which we have covered over the last few months. Both SNAP and P-EBT are great programs but are really geared towards the general population or for school aged children. We have been getting a lot of questions about how to get additional food for families with children who are not yet school aged. Luckily there is another program Called Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) which can provide food resource for kids who are not yet in school as well as for pregnant, nursing mothers.
